LONDRES.- El cuadro inglés del Tottenham no pudo detener las embestidas del Bayern Munich y terminó sucumbiendo 2–7 para quedarse penúltimo en la clasificación del Grupo B de la Champion League.
Con su vocación ofensiva, el Bayern se volcó sobre la defensa del Tottenham, y al minuto 2 llegó el primer aviso a la puerta de Lloris, quien salvó su meta a un disparo de pierna izquierda de Gnabry.
Al minute 11 llegó la primera anotación del partido en los botines de Son Heung-Min, quien aprovechó una asistencia de Moussa Sissoko, para sacar un fuerte disparo cruzado de pierna derecha desde el lado derecho del interior del área por bajo, junto al palo izquierdo, para que el Tottenham tomara la ventaja (1-0).

Poco les duró el gusto a los ingleses, ya que al ’14 vino la reacción de los teutones para poner el marcador 1-1, esto gracias a un disparo de Joshua Kimmich con la pierna derecha desde fuera del área por bajo, junto al palo izquierdo, haciendo imposible la estirada de Lloris.
El partido se volvió de ida y vuelta, pero sin mucha suerte para ambos equipos, por las buenas intervenciones de los guardametas.
Pero fue hasta el final del primer tiempo, cuando el Bayern logró abrir la defensiva del Tottenham gracias a un disparo desde fuera del área de parte de Robert Lewandowski, haciendo inútil la estirada de Lloris, para que el marcador se moviera 1-2 en favor de los alemanes. Y así se fueron al descanso.
En el inicio del segundo tiempo no hubo acciones relevantes, pero en el ’52, Benjamin Pavard, lanzó un pase a profundidad por el lado izquierdo que Serge Gnabry condujo hasta el área grande de los ingleses y sacó un potente disparo con la derecha por el lado derecho de la portería, para el 1-3.
Al ’54 de nuevo Serge Gnabry se hace presente en el marcador y agranda la diferencia 1-4, para lo que ya lucía como una goliza de escándalo.
Totthenham responde al ‘60 y por la vía penal que cobra magistralmente Harry Kane se acerca tímidamente a un 2-4 que no duró por mucho tiempo.
Cuando llegó el minuto ‘82 Serge Gnabry se vuelve a presentar en el marcador y con un remate con la derecha desde el centro del área marca el 2-5 para los teutones.
Al minuto 87, Robert Lewandowski marca el 2-6 mediante un remate con la derecha desde el centro del área por bajo, junto al palo izquierdo.
Al ’87, Serge Gnabry marcó su cuarto gol de la tarde, gracias a una asistencia de Corentin Tolisso, y con un potente disparo con la derecha desde fuera del área, puso el balón junto al palo izquierdo.
Así Tottenham se llevó la goleada más escandaloso de la segunda jornada de la fase de grupos de la Champions League.
