TICUL, Yucatán.— La tarde de este miércoles, un humilde limosnero fue despojado del dinero que había reunido durante varios días en calles del centro de esta ciudad.
Cerca de la una de la tarde, el encargado de una frutería llamó a la Policía Municipal de Ticul para reportar que un hombre que se dedica a pedir limosna había intentado pagar con un billete falso de 500 pesos. De inmediato, llegarón al lugar elementos de la corporación quienes interrogarlo a don “Milo”, como se conoce popularmente al sujeto de unos 88 años de edad.
Versión de testigos
De acuerdo con algunos testigos, la estafa ocurrió cuando una mujer identificada como “Rosa” se acercó al octogenario y le pidió que le cambiara un billete de 500 pesos, y el hombre le explicó que solo había reunido 400 pesos durante varios días, gracias a la caridad de los vecinos.
Sin pensarlo dos veces, la mujer tomó el dinero y le entregó al menesteroso el billete diciéndole que le regalaba los 100 pesos restantes.
Intentó comprar frutas
Los testigos explican que el hombre, “lleno de emoción” se dirigió a comprar algunas frutas y, al intentar pagar, el encargado le explicó que el billete era falso. “Al principio don “Milo” no podía creer lo que le dijo el encargado, pero luego se puso muy triste, casi al borde del llanto”, comentó un vecino.
Identifican a la estafadora
Los testigos comentaron que la mujer que comentió la estafa y despojó al anciano de su dinero es conocida en la ciudad como “Rosa”, quien vive cerca de un comercio de importanciones.
Trasladado para denunciar
Don “Milo”, quien padece de una discapacidad auitivo, fue auxiliado por los agentes municipales y trasladado para interponer la denuncia correspondiente ante la Fiscalía General del Estado.
En la ciudad se han denunciado en varias ocasiones la presencia de billetes falsos de 200 y 500 pesos. Los vecinos pidieron a las autoridades que se haga justicia para que don Milo recupere su dinero y la estafadora sea juzgada por el delito que cometió.- (Por SERGIO IVÁN CHI CHI / Megamedia).
