Los Nacionales de Washington conquistaron, por primera vez en su historia, la Serie Mundial de Béisbol al imponerse de remontada por 6-2 en la casa de los Astros de Houston, el Minute Maid Park.
El resultado dejó el duelo al mejor de siete juegos en 4-3.
La Serie Final de 2019 será recordada como histórica pues todas las victorias fueron para los equipos visitantes.

Los Nacionales se impusieron en los dos primeros juegos de la serie, jugados en el mismo campo de hoy, y los Astros replicaron en los tres encuentros siguientes escenificados en Washington.
El martes, cuando los Astros tenían todo para alzarse con el título en casa, echaron a perder un partido que ganaban por 2-0 al sucumbir por 7-2 y así la final, igualada en 3-3, se iba al último encuentro.
La historia del séptimo y decisivo juego de la final de la Serie Mundial dio un giro de 180 grados en el séptimo episodio, cuando Anthony Rendón y Howie Kendrick conectaron sendos bambinazos que colgaron tres carreras.
Los locales dominaban desde la segunda entrada cuando el cubano Yuli Gurriel impulsó un cuadrangular al jardín izquierdo.
La otra anotación de los Astros llegó en el quinto episodio tras un sencillo que conectó el campocorto puertorriqueño Carlos Correa.
En el octavo el dominicano Juan José Soto bateó sencillo al jardín derecho y el jardinero Adam Eaton anotó la cuarta carrera.
En la novena entrada el mismo Eaton bateó sencillo al jardín central. Entonces anotaron el receptor Yan Gomes y el jardinero dominicano Víctor Robles. EFE
